Normal. . .

Ahh reunited with Twist for lunch after our respective vacations. It was supposed to also be Chungry and Smooth Operator but Smoo bailed on us and then Chungry didn't want to eat with me so he made up some reason to not go (he "wasn't hungry" as if).

Hoofed it over to Treebeards at The Cloisters. I'd never been to this location. It is now my favorite. It's like the high school cafeteria for grown ups. It is awesome. Today's special was chicken and dumplings so we each went for a bowl of that. I also got the squash casserole out of habit and the buttercake.

I like chicken and dumplings but I don't love them. These I loved. Dumplings were homemade and tender. Not too floury. Really nice. Chicken was good and the broth or whatever you call it had a good pepper kick. Twist threw some hot sauce in his. I'm not too sure about that but whatever. I'm not judging.

Squash casserole was perhaps better than the market square store. Nice and mushy with good flavor and lots of breading. Perfect for a cold day. Buttercake was not quite as good as MS. Needed maybe 5 more minutes in the oven? Anyway atmosphere was tops and Chungry can go suck it if he doesn't want to eat with me!
4.5 and very recommended!

    Chungry had 2 hard- boiled eggs for breakfast and forgot he ordered a large chorizo breakfast taco as well. So, Chungry was truly not Chungry. chungry also had gone to Treebeards twice in the past week so Chingry did not want to go to The Cloister ( no "S" on the end). Also, Chungry had to get to his faux MBA course by 1 pm and seeing as Yodi and Kingwood Boy waiting until 12:20, Chungry could not go.

    Probably most importantly, Chungry is scared of Yodi so there was no reason to go.
